We warmly invite you to our weekly Satsang Group
Thursday Satsang has three parts:
1. A Short Dharma Teaching given by Chinmayan (Lama Yeshe Gyamtso)
Still Mountain Meditation Center is beginning an ongoing course in the first steps of the Vajrayana Tibetan Buddhist Path. Starting with teachings on The Four Noble Truths, Chinmayan will introduce the Satsang group to understandings and principles that, once grasped, make it possible to navigate the process from suffering to liberation.
Most of us suffer from negative emotional states and habits that cause unhappiness and havoc in our lives. However, we actually CAN learn how to free ourselves and move on to better things via the Profound Skillful Methods of The Noble Vajrayana Path.
2. Tranquility Meditation and OM Meditation:
Simple yet profound practices for developing a clear, centered, body, mind and spirit. Meditation is a necessary practice if you do want to know true peace and happiness and make progress along the spiritual path.
Sacred Sound Meditation in which we use music and chanting to open up our hearts and raise our level of consciousness.
Please arrive ten minutes early to settle in your seat. Chairs, cushions and prayer blankets are available. Please refrain from wearing scented products.
A suggested donation of $10.00 is requested and any amount large or small is helpful

"Fortunately over 40 years ago I met and became a student of great meditation masters who taught me the Vajrayana principles and practices which have become my essential tools to save myself from suffering. I have done these practices ....such as Shamatha Meditation and Mantra ever since because they are highly effective...Even in the midst of a busy and demanding life of many stresses and problems these simple practices and understandings made immediate and lasting positive changes which resulted in complete release from depression and led me to develop deep healing, happiness and joy" Chinmayan
