Freyr, Freya, Thor, Loki, Odin, Tyr, Frigga, Idunna...Aesir, Vanir, Alf, and Jotun deities... Are you a neopagan drawn to working with some or all of the Norse pantheon, but you want to make really, really sure you don't get involved with a racist hate group by accident? (Alas, there are some that use Norse symbols and reference Norse gods.) I'm an isolated Troth member looking for other polytheist pagans and/or history/culture nerds to form a brilliantly progressive, inclusive "Kindred" community for gatherings, learning, costuming, performance, and rituals here in Lake and Mendocino Co. People who already work with multiple pantheons and pagan traditions are most welcome. And if you're completely new to all this, but find yourself intrigued, you are also welcome!

This group will have a social justice and environmental focus as well as a spiritual one. We will welcome diversity, including sexual and gender diversity, race and ethnicity, disabilities, age (though you should probably be an adult or have your parent's permission), and so on. No racism, no transphobia or homophobia, no misogyny, no hate. Gatherings will be fragrance-free to accommodate people with asthma.
We'll also sign and support Declaration 127 (an anti-hate group declaration) and perhaps even be able to qualify (eventually) as an official Troth Kindred. (The Troth is a great national organization!)
If this sounds like something that interests you, get in touch. We'll talk at first via Zoom and brainstorm, to see what we might create together, as a Kindred community.
