Handmade Paper, Letterpress Printing (Leggett)

I have the experience and most of the equipment for making handmade paper, and for printing books by letterpress (I have three antique letterpress printing presses, including a Vandercook #17 proof press). The equipment is in storage, but I want to set it up again in a building I want to purchase. The building needs some renovation and a new roof, and I want to install a complete solar setup on the roof to power everything, which will include two or three resident apprentices to do most of the work of making the paper. I also want to set up a photo-polymer plate-maker so that we don’t have to set type by hand anymore, the way I used to do it (although I still have a valuable collection of antique foundry type). I want to publish books featuring original art, in small, handbound editions, signed and numbered, for collectors of fine art, an eager market.

Everything about this investment will repay tenfold, but I can’t do it alone ~ I need more money, and I need the help of some younger people. I will sell a full partnership for $500,000, or a half share for $250,000, which is the least I would need to guarantee the success of the venture.
