I bought this jacket in a store in Minneapolis, Mn back in the winter of 1968.
It's a shearling suede jacket my favorite jacket material. I had 4 leather and suede coats back then, this is the only one I treasured and kept.

Mostly because I wore it to a Janis Joplin concert November of 1969 in Chicago. Less than one year before she OD on Heroin. I got close enough to touch her that night, but I'm not the touchy kind. So I just stared mostly while the others around me pushed and squeezed their way to give her a hand.

She used the F-word alot and sounded like she had smoked 18 packs of Lucky Strikes before she floated on stage. She couldn't sing her way into a dump ground, but entertain...she could. It was mesmerizing to watch her!

This jacket has her vibrations still in the skins and cloth. A steal for any REAL Hippie or maybe even a Psuedo like me.

JJ Jacket will fit a size 6, 8, and maybe a 10. It will need to be cleaned after being closeted for over 40 years. There is one button missing, otherwise excellent condition.

After the wearing to the concert I never wore it again. Not been worn more than 15 times. Great collector item!
